I’m an Italian non-professional bike lover, I like cycling slowly through new lands, just to enjoy nature and people. While I’m not cycling, I work as a music teacher in state schools. I travelled through the Ecovia do litoral in August 2016. Since the official site was down and it is difficult to find information on this route, I decided to create this website in order to help people who want to travel along the Algarve.

March 7, 2018 at 13:28Ciao, sono Paola e ad aprile vorrei partie da Siviglia e arrivare a Lisbona, con una gravel, attraversando anche questa ciclabile. Visto che vorrei fare il mio primo viaggio in solitaria, mi chiedevo se il tragitto é molto isolato o se nel giro di qualche chilometro troverei sempre una strada, ecc…animali allo stato brado ? randagi ecc…? Si trova sempre da dormire?

March 7, 2018 at 14:35Ciao, ci sono alcuni tratti un po’ meno abitati ma al massimo ogni 10 km trovi un gruppo di case. Per quanto riguarda gli animali ho trovato qualche gregge di pecore… Per trovare da dormire, credo che aprile sia un buon periodo, potrebbero esserci maggiori difficoltà nell’alta stagione balneare. Spero di esserti stato d’aiuto 😊

March 29, 2018 at 08:13Hi Basso, the Ecovia litoral is for about 50% on unpaved road so you won’t be able to cycle along the whole track. Anyway, for sure you can travel from Lagos to Cabo de Sao Vincente, it is a nice 40+40km trip with some hills on the way.
